Reoccuring Dream

Stretched out upon the grass
Beneath the starry skies
The moments slowly pass
As I gaze into her eyes

The meeting of our lips
With eyes tightly closed
The warmth of her breath
And meeting of our souls

He devours and slowly savors
The sweetness of her taste
The amassment of many flavors
And not one gone to waste

The coupling of skin upon skin
Lasting for a lengthy period of time
The slow building of intensity within
And eventual descent from the climb

Then, as suddenly as it began
It all comes to its end
The hazel-eyed maiden departed
And the day has come again

A Reason For Being Thankful

She sets free the longtime prisoner from his entombment. Placed there long ago by an evil tyrant. He did not want to see his inner child hurt any longer by the cruelty found in the world. Sealing him in this musty tomb with the greatest of intentions.

His ghastly shackles cast away with a single act of kindness. The light pains his eyes, but she leads him back into the light for the entire world to see. Taking him into her caring bosom, she nurses him slowly back to health. He finds safety and comfort in her care.

Soft whispers and kind words ease the pain from old wounds. The scars remain upon him, yet he finally resembles the person he once was again. A person he thought was lost long ago, yet she somehow drew him out again.

For her acts of kindness, he would do anything within his power. The tools given to him by birth and through diligent practice are hers for the taking. He tries to help her in everyway possible on a daily basis. His comfort comes at a distant second to her happiness.

Not a day goes by that he is not thankful for her presence. He feels so very alive when he is around her. She marks the best thing that has happened to him in a long time. Her presence alone forces him to believe that there must be such a thing as karma, and she is his reward for always trying to help others.

His only wish for the upcoming year is that it is one filled with her presence. It marks the first year in a long time for which he has looked forward to its arrival. The dawn of the new year is closing in upon him, and he finally has a reason to celebrate its passing and be thankful.

Impossible Dream

He has unknowingly fell under her spell. Cast upon him by a flash of the most beautiful hazel eyes in existence. The blood ebbs and flows through his veins as his heart beats increasingly faster. His body responds accordingly and the sweat begins to accumulate on his palms. His mind races and finds it hard to concentrate on anything.

He wants nothing in this world more than to hold her body close to his and kiss her lips. To breathe in deeply and smell the sweet scent of her hair. The unrelenting desire to get closer to her and feel the warmth from her body. The feeling overcomes him every time he is in her presence. The proximity between them directly proportional to the happiness he experiences.

He hates the idea of jealousy, but he cannot help but feel it when other men command her attention and distract her from him. To be the object of her affection and desires is the only thing he can think of at the moment. He struggles to garner her attention with his futile amusements. Not a day passes without him trying to bring a smile to her face and a few seconds of joy to her mind. Her happiness becomes his sole purpose.

The reality of the situation finally commands his attention and his heart sinks in his chest. A sadness overcomes that would bring a weaker man to tears. He knows that such a thing is impossible and that there is no future for such ideas. To think of such a thing is nothing more than a fantasy that can never be realized. An impossible dream created by the mind of a romantic fool which will never exist.

He closes his eyes briefly and dreams of her as he falls asleep. If this is the only realm where they may be together, then he wishes he could stay asleep forever. However, he knows that this is impossible, but he finds comfort in knowing that they can be together each time he closes his eyes.

Unique

She is the friend I have sought out throughout the course of my brief lifetime. I found in her a friend that I did not think possible to exist except in books of fantasy. A kindred spirit and kind soul who never ceases to amaze me with the warmth and capacity of her heart.

She has given me the courage to unveil more of myself to the world than I ever thought possible. The only person in the entire world with which I find it comfortable sharing the entirety of my person. Finding comfort enough within her presence enough to share all my heart, mind, and soul.

I could search for an eternity and never find someone that could even come close. Millions and millions of hours would never turn up another individual with such a warming smile or wonderful heart. I shall not even attempt such a search for it would inherently be in vain.

Cemented Bonds

Love, like any structure, requires a strong foundation from which to build. Not a stronger foundation exists for such a complex structure than that of friendship. A cemented bond between two individuals made by an outpouring of trust and understanding. Developing a level of rapport and caring between two separate souls.

Without such a strong foundation, the structure would collapse upon itself and fall under its own weight. Love cannot truly exist without a concrete element like that of trust. It gives strength and reinforces all that is built upon it. The prerequisite that is required for any relationship.

Attraction is the catalyst, which prompts such an undertaking and drives its early undertakings. The drive may be great and overwhelming, but the structure cannot be built upon a foundation of loose sand. Loose bonds undermine the great effort required to architect love's plan and cause it to fail in its early infancy.

The construction of any type of relationship is a risky proposition. One commits their blood, sweat, and tears to its development not knowing the outcome. Never knowing if their structure will withstand the outside forces life throws at it. The only test for such a thing is that of time. Laboring each day towards its reinforcement and upkeep.

The risk between friends is not as great as one might think at first sight. The concrete foundation of friendship would still remain even if the structure were to collapse upon itself or never even get off the ground. The two would walk away with some happy memories and a better understanding of each no matter what the outcome. It is an ample reward for a small amount of labor and a slight gamble in my opinion.

A Living Dream

You walk into a room and everyone feels your presence. A bright and shining light flashes before them and catches their attention. The crowd hushes and becomes quiet at the first glimpse of you. They hold their breath and long to hear you speak so they know you are not a figment of their imagination. They quietly pinch themselves to make sure they are not dreaming.

The men vainly daydream of being with you and part of your life. The women grow green with envy, as they can never hope to be half as beautiful as you. Everyone wanting to possess whatever it is that you have that makes you so overtly attractive. A magnetic presence, which draws others to you everywhere you go.

Words slip past your lips and beckon those around you to come closer. You draw them in with a personality that creates friendliness and warm feelings in all those you meet. They love being in your presence and long for it when they are without.

The room becomes darker when you leave and grows colder in your absence. You continue to encircle the minds of the men in the room. None have ever seen something so beautiful and cannot until you grace them with your presence again. Not even imagination could prove itself a suitable substitute for someone as beautiful as you.

A Fairy Sculpture

A perfect work of art sculpted of flesh and blood with much care. Brought to life by the beating of the kindest heart of any person I have met in my entire life. A unique and divine creation that does not compare to any other.

Not a single person has ever or will ever fit the mould of such a sculpture. She belongs upon a pedestal bathed in a bright, illustrious light. The spotlight belongs to her and her alone.

She transfers her beauty into artistic creations of her own. Their beauty stands out almost as much as her own does. Worthy of being in a gallery for others to admire as much as others admire her own beauty.

Her own beauty transcends the boundaries of being merely cute. Not a single word could sum up such a creation or even touch the surface of describing her. You cannot know the true definition of enchanting until you have seen her or been fortunate enough to speak with her.

Bottled Up

If I could find a bottle large enough, I would gladly crawl inside. Glass black enough to block the sunlight from entering. Corked up and hidden from the outside world and its inhabitants.

Liquid medicine to fill the deep void within my chest. Soothing my aching heart and cleansing it of its loneliness. Washing out the dirt from the open wounds in its tender flesh.

However, I fear I know no relief can be found by filling yourself by artificial means. The loneliness growing constantly as it feeds upon the ingested alcohol. That alone feeling which you seek to end only intensifies.

Woman Of My Dreams

She is the woman who haunts me in my dreams. The loving apparition whose beautiful, brown eyes I cannot resist. A glance from them puts my mind to rest and makes my heart beat faster.

We dance together in playful merriment. There is no music to be heard, yet we still embrace each other to dance. I cannot tell if other people are in my dreams for my focus is on her and her alone.

She kisses my lips gently and runs her fingers through my hair. Our bodies warming each other with their close proximity. A sense of joy rushing through my dormant mind.

Time seems to slow down or stop completely when we are together. All good things must come to an end, but my mind tries in vain to prolong these dreams. It knows that with reality comes the sense of longing my heart so desperately tries to fulfill.

As my eyes open, they are greeted by the harshness of reality. The fair and radiant maiden is no longer in my presence. I see her almost everyday in reality, yet we lack the closeness and proximity my heart desires most.

The fact that I do not know her feelings towards me weighs most heavily on my mind. The time between when we part and meet again is spent deep in thought. My dreams provide some relief, yet they cannot possibly do her beauty any justice.

To get to know you better is all I ask. My heart and mind are rarely in agreement, yet they are both completely taken by you. Completely and utterly enthralled by your aura and accumen.

Place your mind aside for a moment and listen to your heart. If you can honestly say there are no feelings toward me, then tell me so now and put my mind to rest. Allow me to turn away my heart and feel this longing no longer.

However, if you do feel anything in the slightest, I shall wait until I might have the opportunity to nuture such feelings. To water them with my trust and loyalty so they may flourish and blossom. To woo you with my charm and wit so that you may know that gentlemen still do exist in a world filled with vultures. Even if that means having to wait until I do not see you everyday.

A Final Request

He thought that they would be the perfect match;
And considered her to be quite the catch;

Fitting all of the qualities he seeks in a girl;
Finally finding inside of a clam his pearl;

He thought he fit what she is seeking too;
And why not is all he wished he knew;

Her very own Prince Charming if she would only allow him;
Of a chivalrous nature who would cater to her every reasonable whim;

A man of intelligence and sense of self;
Who has many good qualities upon his shelf;

He would constantly take her to operas, museums, and movies;
Take her out to eat and afterwards for ice cream or smoothies;

Treating her every day with the upmost respect;
And trusting her without doubt in every aspect;

With her he might finally find companionship;
The stone off his heart she might finally chip;

Giving him cause to writes poems of an epic nature;
A burning desire to create for which there is no cure;

His heart making a final outcry to her;
Wanting inside only to know for sure;

Is is pointless for me to ask you out again?
Even if it's just as friends?

Tell me so I will at least know,
Whether that answer be yes or no,
and why exactly you feel so;

A Final Dream

I did not think I could dream any longer, yet I dreamed twice last night. An experience I have never experienced before. The dreams were wondrous and unlike any I have ever had previously.

In the first dream, we were both talking as if it were any other day. Much to your surprise, I caught you off-guard. I quickly leaned towards you and kissed your lips. I tried to withdraw, but you pulled me closer before I could. Your soft lips wrestling with mine as our bodies fought to get closer. My arms wrapped firmly yet gently around your tiny frame.

Then, it ended just as soon as the dream started; however, another dream began as I fell back asleep. This time we sat together amongst at a table amongst friends. They asked of you the nature of relationship. After a brief pause, you smiled and answered without missing a beat. You merely said I was your boyfriend and nothing more. Pulling me in close to you, you kissed me passionately on the lips.

The second dream was at its end now as well. I had to wake up and write it down. Dreams like these are not meant to be forgotten.

Speak To Me

If there is no hope, tell me so,
And deliver upon my heart the fatal blow;

To all the good feelings put an end,
So that my broken heart may start to mend;

Or if thou willst, pronounceth thee
Feelings that thou hav'th of me;

If thou dost think my words untrue,
That from the inked page doth spew;

Only allow me to prove what I say,
From now until my dying day;

Dying without knowing what could have been,
Would prove to be the most mortal sin;

If I die tomorrow, I would have one regret,
That I had not gotten to know you better yet;

I ask of you only that you wait and see,
Before deciding upon the fate of you and me;

Until the proper time shall I patiently wait,
Finding some contentment in our current state;

I only hope my wait does not await an ill-fate,
But the greatest things in life are worth the wait;

Poisonous

His eyes finally opened up to the outside world. He bends down beside a favorite flower of his. The gorgeous white petals beckoning him to come closer.

He breathes in deeply of the flower's aroma. Unable to fool himself any longer, the poisonous flower's stench is foul and almost unbearable. The scent invades his nostrils and takes ahold of his sense of smell.

His eyes well up and the tears roll down his cheeks. The whole experience is truly disheartening. It weighs heavily upon his chest and mind.

The unhappiness is short-lived, because he knows there are plenty of other flowers out there. Some with even prettier petals and sweeter smells though shortly ago he would not have thought it possible.

The foolish man rises to his feet and continues along as normal. He walks confidently knowing that he has learned his lesson from the experience. The man had walked into the situation a fool, but he walked away much wiser.

July 15, 2005

Eternal

True love is eternal and everlasting. Its greatness cannot be contained by any mere boundaries. Such a thing as love becomes evident in all your actions and everything you do. It is impossible to hide or mask from the world.

The object of your affection takes precedence in your mind. You think of its well-being and wonder what it's doing. Their feelings become your own and you gladly share these with that individual.

Every breath you inhale and beat of your heart becomes dedicated to that which you love. Their happiness and comfort is that which you consider first and foremost. Needing nothing in return for your actions except that feeling of reciprocal love which fills your heart.

More News

His expectations have proved themselves to be true. Though he has expected it, the news initially shock him slightly. The thought of not seeing her everyday depresses him momentarily.

The depression is short lived as he rejoices in her newfound excitement. He only wants her to be happy whatever that might entail. She has his support and encouragement no matter what she decides.

He will be there for her as long as she'll have him. To listen intently to her and give her his time. She has his loyalty and trust which he gives to her expecting nothing in return.

Treasure

A treasure encased in stone long ago waiting to be discovered. Rubble piled on top to conceal it from others. He thought it would never be uncovered and freed from its rocky prison.

This changed when a certain person came along. The rocks and rubble chiseled away with kind words and brushed away with coy glances. Freed from its prison, the treasure lies there for her to take.

The day has come to finally offer her the treasure. To let her claim what is hers to take. He knows it would be in good hands and trusts in her judgment.

If she declines for some reason, he will leave it uncovered just in case. The misfortune will be almost unbearable, but he cannot blame her. He will just continue looking for someone worthy of such a treasure.

Demons

The inner demons fled due to the close proxmity of such a shining light. The warmth of her aura filling their lungs and choking them slowly into submission. Thoughts of happiness and joy sickening their vile stomachs. Her angelic voice piercing their ear drums causing them to shreik and cover their ears in pain.

With her ongoing presence, they might be gone for good. The distance slowly replacing the proximity for which he hoped. They return from their shadows and feed upon the rage filling him up inside. Basking gleefully in the darkness as the light withdraws from inside him. Their vigor renewed by the chilling air replacing the warmth once felt. His demons allowed to run freely once more.

Courtship

A flowery meadow sits next to a forest. Amidst the flowers rustles a muster of peacocks. The sun sits high in the sky and reigns its beams upon the meadow below.

The dominant male tries to gain the attention of a female that caught his eyes. His large and illustrious plumage shines brightly in the sun. He struts with confidence as he walks through the group. As he makes several passes by her, he flaunts his bright and striking feathers.

The female fails to take notice of his finer qualities. She fears crossing the line with him and opts for being coy. Her head turns and looks away from him. The thought of being mate to her superior is too much for her to bear.

He takes a more direct approach. As he confronts her, he gently rubs her as a gesture of comfort. The approach seems to be more effective as she seems to be more responsive. A sign that she is warming up to him and no longer concerned with position or social status.

The two rub their heads against one another. The warmth of her body as she brushes against his. He screeches slightly as if to ask her out. She tries to play coy at first, but she cannot hold back any longer. She accepts his offer and the two retreat to the forest out of view.

June 25, 2005

Together

The moon and night sky are no longer visible to them. A thick fog coats the inside of the vehichle's windows. Hot breath filling the chamber with each expulsion of their lungs. The heat rising from their bodies embraced together.

Their hearts race with an ever quickening intensity. Flesh and hands mingling while their lips are intertwined. Running his hands through her hair and caressing her face as he stares deeply into her eyes. He inhales deeply of the warm air and the sweet smell of hair.

She presses herself close to him and finds comfort against his chest. Her arms gently wrapped around him. Fingers gently stroking his bare back and sending shivers down his spine.

The two linger together and hours pass by them. The embrace finally takes its toll upon the two. They find themselves worn out and the two slowly drift off to sleep in each other's arms.

June 24, 2005

Intimacy

A newfound intimacy grows within him that was unseen before. An open bridge free of obstruction opened between the two. The bridge's pillars set upon a foundation of trust and honesty. The pillars themselves representing the reciprocal respect between them.

Stormy waters may crash upon the pillars and overflow the bridge's edges, but the bridge shall remain steadfast and strong as ever. The unwavering pillars of respect never faltering and the foundation of trust never cracking.

He sends his deepest secrets along it and she gladly accepts them. Answering her questions without thinking or hesitating. The responses flow freely without reservations of any kind.

The two themselves will fall away into the abyss before the bridge disintegrates. Its everlasting and impermeable nature standing the test of time. The bridge falling only when the universe itself crumbles into pieces.

Pedestal

I place you upon a pedestal beneath the shining sun. The light revealing to the masses what I have always seen. A bright and glistening gem amidst the dull sea of the masses. You shine even in the shadows of those with larger statures.

I stand upon a mountain and sing your praises to the masses below. Sharing my poems with everyone and anyone I meet. Your radiance and beauty rising from the words on the page and illuminating the imaginations of the readers. They find themselves wanting someone who will see them the way I see you.

My heart poured out on the paper in black ink. The loving words binding themselves to the hearts of those who read them. Illuminating the smiles on their faces and bringing brief tears to their eyes. I cannot help but wonder what you think when you read them.

Perhaps the day will come when you will tell me of such things. To grant me the knowledge of how they make you feel. Until that day comes, I shall relish in knowing that you at least know for whom they are written.

June 23, 2005

Witch

I find myself bewitched and befuddled in her presence. The wickedly wonderful witch has me under her spell. Mesmerized by a quick, unwavering glance from her brown eyes. The radiance of her soul piercing the glassy finish of them. The spell taking its hold on my heart and mind. My body unable to deny her pervading spell from burrowing within.

I find myself caring for her well-being unlike any other around me. Sometimes wondering at night if she got home safely. My heart yearns each day to know how she is doing. Bad news bringing my mind to a crashing halt. A sense of relief granted when I know she is alright.

Trust

He hands her the keys without a second thought. Trusting her unlike any other person he has ever met before. He is not sure exactly why but he trusts his instincts.

His instincts have never failed him, yet he still wonders why he trusts her so much so quickly. Perhaps it is because he feels more comfortable around her than anyone he has ever met. Not a single care or worry crosses his mind when they are together.

Trust is the only thing that keeps him from bursting out. Only in the presence of those he trusts will he truely be himself. He keeps his presence resererved and his true self veiled around those he does not trust.

Never would he give the keys to somone he did not trust wholeheartedly.

June 22, 2005

Vultures

There are vultures constantly seeking to prey upon her. Their tiny and feeble minds fixated upon only one thing. They want nothing more than to devour and feast upon her flesh. To taste of her juices and leave her to rot in the sun when they lose interest.

A grand and mighty eagle watches keenly overhead. He seeks to give her his protection and offer her his time. To stand with her against said vultures and give her his comfort and loyalty. He does so because he trusts and believes in her.

He swoops down in her time of need and fends off the vultures. The vultures flee in his presence since his unwavering nature is apparent to them. The tiny bird rests under his wing and rests upon his chest.

Several minutes pass while they are embraced, then the pair fly off together into the sunset.

June 20, 2005

Coals

The coals sit cold and covered in ash in the furnace. Long has it been since any flames burned there. A spark ignites them through some unexpected event. The fire burns brighter and hotter than ever before. The warmth disperses through the air and heats the cold chamber the furnace sits within. The flickers of the flames light up the chamber and reveal red walls which always appeared black in the fire's absence.

The warm air rises up through the ducts and brings warmth to the attic. The cobweb ridden space fills with heat long forgotten. The heat defrosts equipment long frozen from the cold. Wheels return to life with renewed vigor now they are freed from their icy bonds.

The lights illuminate the previously unlit exterior. The neighbors stand in awe of a beauty never exposed to them before. Even those who have seen the house at its best are amazed by the glow emitted by the house. Its amazing features radiate outward and become apparent for all to see.

The Beast

A lonely beast travels along the bleached white sands of the beach. He travels south from the soft hills and their peaks to the valley. In this valley, the beast finds a patch of bushes. The budding bushes are brown in color and shimmer in the sun. Their sweet aroma draws him to them and beckons him to come closer.

He lowers his head and gently nuzzles his snout through the branches. He gnaws at the bushes slightly, and pushes them aside. A dark, warm cavern sits hidden amidst the bushes. A sweet, watery liquid trickles from its tiny, concealed entrance. A heavy aroma overtakes his senses and he becomes light-headed. His tongue darts forth and partakes of the liquid that coats the edges of the entrance. He cannot help himself and he continues lapping at the viscous liquid until an unexpected event occurs.

The ground beneath him shakes as a nearby volcano erupts. The bushes sway and quiver as the tremors rock them back and forth. The beast hears the birds in the trees nearby screech and something howling in the distance. The rumbling of the ground causes the edges of the cavern to pulsate slightly. Fearing that he may be devoured by the pit, the beast decides to distance himself from it.

Unique

I have seen thousands of girls with beautiful eyes,
And hundreds of girls with who've made me sigh;
But never have I met one with such a gorgeous mind;
Proving yourself to be unique and one of a kind;
A vivid and vibrant example of an incredible find;
I find myself waiting for an unmistakable sign;
A time to strike at the chance to make you mine;
The type of chance that comes once in a lifetime,
And to not take it would be an unforgivable crime;

Little Bird

A bird lies grounded by the fate of the vengeful wind. A wayward breeze blew her into the tree and she fell to the ground. The gorgeous bird is forced to walk instead of soaring with the eagles. Her wings may be broken, but her spirit is unwavering.

A man walking by spots the injured bird beside the tree. The bird is familiar to him as he walks by daily and sees her each day. He kneels beside her and gently cups the tiny bird in his hands. She is rather timid at first, but the bird goes with him willingly. The kind man brings the bird back to his home.

At his home, the man nurses the bird back to health as her wings mend themselves. She develops a bond with her newly found caretaker. The tiny bird has never experienced such kindness before. Why would anyone choose to go out of their way for a little bird like her?

Two or three weeks pass by and the two become closer and closer. He has become her wings but now her own are mended. The man lets out a brief, heavy sigh, but he knows the time has come. He opens the door and takes the bird with him on his daily walk. He cannot help but to let out another sigh, but this is one of relief. She does not go anywhere.

The two walk along and pass the tree where they met. She enjoys basking in the sunlight and feeling the breeze across her feathers. She is free to leave, but she cannot help but want to stay with the kind man. Occasionally she will leave him to stretch her wings, but the man trusts she will return.

Years continue to pass by and the two age together in his house. He loves and trusts her so much that she is free to come and go as she pleases. The tiny bird always comes back to him and they relish their walks together.

One day a passerby asks the old man about his odd company. The man replies that if you love something, you must set it free and trust it to return. If it comes back to you, then you have not trusted in vain.

The passerby is satisfied with his response and bids the two a fond farewell. The two resume their leisurely stroll.

An Odd Pair

The headstrong and stubborn bull stands steadfast in the corner of the dry and deserted pasture. The rather small-statured bull has a certain distinguished nature to him. It stands confidently and upright against the bellowing winds. Unwavering and unwilling, the bull refuses to budge for anything. Underneath the branches of a decaying tree, the bull sits with feet firmly planted.

The water bearer gazes at that bull as he walks past the pasture. He cannot help but notice the bull's rather stubborn nature. However, he finds himself amazed by its regal and strong stature. He can tell right away that the bull is rather tiny, but the bull certainly possesses a fiery and uncontrollable spirit. Its lazy appearance may be misread, but a strong-hearted fighter lurks beneath.

He crosses the aged fence into the pasture with his pitcher of water. The courageous and altruistic water bearer approaches the intimidating bull. Most men would flee in fear but he relentlessly continues along. He digs a pit in the dirt with his own two hands and fills it with water. Then, he takes some rations from his pocket and lays them on the ground.

The bull arises and lifts his weight upon his feet. It struts slowly and elegantly towards the man and his gifts. Weak from exhaustion and thirst, the bull continues along. Normally, the bull would lower its horns and charge but it cannot amass the strength.

As the bull partakes of the water and food laid at his feet, the water bearer gently runs his hands along the bull's back. At first, the bull tries to shake him loose but the man's persistence assures the bull of his perseverance. After a few parting strokes on the bull's side, the man returns to the fence and exits the pasture.

Several weeks and months pass and their relationship continues to develop. The rains come and return the pasture to its previously majestic nature. Everyday the man passes by and visits the lonely bull. The bond between them increasing with each visit. Once trust and respect are established, even the most distant of creatures can become the greatest of friends.

Foolish Helper

You ask for my help and I am happy to oblige. Sitting next to you, I find myself staring at your gorgeous eyes. Just a single glance at them and I can no longer concentrate. I want nothing more than to get even closer but I must wait.

I find it harder and harder to do what I need to do. My eyes constantly wandering from whatever I'm doing to you. Day-dreaming about getting close to you and treating you as you deserve. I would kiss you right where we sit, but I cannot amass the nerve.

Your cuteness and intelligence take over rational thought. Representing exactly what it is that I have always sought. Tempting me to abandon all reason to follow my heart. I want to proceed but unsure of how to start.

June 15, 2005

Time Well Spent

I enjoy immensely every moment spent in your company. Hoping that my uneventful nature does not make you want to flee. I feel so comfortable and free when we are together. Things can only progress and get better and better. The newfound bond between us merely an ever thickening tether. Consantly and continually strengthening with each little outting we take together. Good friends I would settle for graciously; not wanting to put our current situations at stake. Though I am ever hoping for it to progress further, and something better will it make.

June 14, 2005

An Equal

I have finally found an intellectual equal. A majestic and meek, mighty goddess who is incredibly comfortable with how hot she is. One I find to be always open and honest, and invariably modest. Respecting her like not many I have met before and trusting within her even more. Constantly amazed and amused by her carefree nature, yet not so wild that she might be thought immature.

June 13, 2005

At The Edge

He takes a deep breath and comes closer to the edge than ever before. He wants to take the plunge and delve into the depths of her mind and soul. He cannot help but think to himself about the taboo nature of the edge he intends to cross. He patiently awaits the right time to present itself so he may jump. He knows deep inside that the illustrious and beaming pool is worth it.

He knows there is no going back once he crosses that edge. Somehow his instincts tell him that everything will turn out just fine, and his instints have always served him well in the past. His only concern is whether or not the person on the other side is comfortable with his crossing of the line that seperates them.

Confounded by the current situation, he still waits patiently at the edge. He does not want to betray his heart, yet he does not want to make waves. If only they had met in some other fashion, then he would not consider it such a gamble. The question is not whether he will roll the dice, but when he will actually do it.

Goddess

Pursuing a gregarious, gorgeous goddess for my temple. A whimsical and wildly beautiful creature whom mere words cannot describe. Someone worth trusting and cherishing as she so desires and deserves. An inner soul that shines brightly and illuminates my entire aura.

Unwilling to waste my precious time on Earth with just any girl. Looking inside each and every clam in pursuit of a gorgeous pearl. Shallowness simply will not do for someone such as me. Deep thoughts and ideas are simply an unavoidable necessity.

Willing to be single until such an utterly unique individual presents herself. Hoping with baited-breath that such an individual has been presented already. An extraordinary and exciting person with whom I can imagine myself. Anxiously awaiting for events to unfold and the curtains to be lifted.

June 12, 2005

The Fool

The fool ponders needlessly in his chamber about that which he cannot have. Vainly he dreams of warm embraces and soft kisses in the moonlight. His mind filled with enchanting evenings filled with hours spent gazing deeply into her sparkling, brown eyes. Thoughts race through his head of a reality which may never be realized.

The dreams are idealistic and foolish, but he cannot free his mind from them. They surround his better senses and force them to surrender to their will. Unable to flee from these silly ideals, his senses submit themselves willingly. A mind completely and utterly enthralled by beauty, and a heart woefully embracing every pitiful moment of it.

The dreams only subside when in her presence and company. He finds himself no longer thinking and foolishly following her lead. Wrapped tightly around her pretty, little finger, he finds it nearly impossible to deny her. He cannot help himself as if entranced by the spell of this beautiful, little witch.

The entire essence of her presence captivates him. The fool's heart has fallen for her unique and sometimes unorthodox nature. Quick glances from her unwavering eyes and brief smiles keep him entirely enthralled. Her sweet and sometimes tawdry voice wrap him tighter around her finger. Any type of thinking about her, good or bad, places the unwitting fool under her spell further.

Sometimes he thinks about how foolishly he follows suit. His stubborn and obstinate nature not allowing itself to show. A pitiful and willing slave who does not want to deviate from her company. He thinks of how much fun he has just talking with her. Wanting to get to know her better, but unsure of how to proceed. All the time he sits thinking, a single phrase continualy comes to mind.

He cannot help but remember the old saying: "Only fools fall in love."

The Fairy

Dancing in the sea of twilight were an ogre and a fairy amidst a sea of others. The night graciously providing music for the two to dance. The lusciously enchanting and limber fairy finding it easy to keep in rhythm. Such a thing proves to be more of an ordeal for the clumsy ogre. His clumsiness compounded by his inability to stop from watching the sultry fairy's body swaying. He tries his best to keep up but finds himself out of his element. She takes his clumsiness in stride as a good friend would. She supplies her tiny hand and he softly takes hold. Dizzyingly she spins around in his hand. The moment is brief but he wishes it would last for an eternity.

The music fades away and their dancing comes to a close. The night grows old and the sun is not far from rising. The two part ways with a warm embrace and a few parting words. The ogre only wishes the fairy knew how much he enjoyed their brief mingling. He hopes the uncontrollable smile left on his face conveys a small semblance of how he feels. The ogre considering himself lucky to have such a fiery, tiny-framed fairy for a friend.

Captivated

Completely captivated and enthralled when I am in your company. Finding myself utterly speechless and helpess as I listen intently. Devestated by this lack of words I cannot help but to submit myself to your sweet voice. Lacking the voice to say what I want, I resign myself to nodding in agreement. Occasionally chiming in when I can squeeze a sentence out. Loving and enoying every moment of it all. Mesmerized by your wit and humor, my brain does seize and stall.

The words pour out on paper and flow with ease. Thoughts and feelings kept at bay which never cease. Constantly and continually the ideas race through my mind. I can scarecly find time to write them all down. Writing and revising I write them down to ease my mind. Lifting and removing a heavy burden with each written line.

Jewel

Your parting has chased happiness away;
Hiding inside admist a sea of black and gray;

Unexpectedly to me do you return;
The sea begins to flow and churn;

A wanting glance stirs the monochrome sea;
Happiness caught in the current and unable to flee;

The endless depths begin to empty and wain;
Emptying the pit of hate and disdain;

Finally breaking the surface of this black pool;
Reflecting light like a radiant jewel;

Unable to be supressed any longer;
Its size increases and grows stronger;

Displacing unhappy thoughts and melancholy;
It feeds its bearer's joy and loving folly;

Fed by loving and caring company;
It radiates outward for all to see;

It shines its brightest in the light;
Radiating from your heart so bright;

The dark and ominous pool completely drained;
Replaced with the sea of love its gained;

Unhappiness here no longer does stay;
Since you have came along the way;

Your radiant company do I hope to keep;
And the rewards do I hope to reap;

A New Start

My day begins again at first glance. Awakening to see the newly rising sun's ascension into the sky. Hearing the birds chirping and fluttering admist the branches of the surrounding trees. Smiling fiercely as not a single cloud loiters in the sky to block my view. Sighing and muttering to myself about how I wish my days really began with seeing your face. Even the gloomiest and darkest of days would be unable to supress my joy. Working diligently throughout the day patiently awaiting my next chance to see you again.

The day ends prematurely at parting glance. Unable to hear any birds any longer or even see the sun. The sky filled with black, ominous clouds blocking any view I should hope to have. The close of the day has already come and any happiness had has fled and run. Unknowing when our paths will cross again, I patiently wait to see you again and for a new start of day.

Mountain

Expressing your love is similar to climbing a mountain. The task seems almost impossible and success even looks improbable. Setting your mind to the task is as hard as the climb itself. Finding courage to approach the mountain and begin your ascent.

You seek and find the courage within to finally reach out and take the first step. Your heart races in your chest and thoughts race through your mind. It is a long, rocky journey to the peak. You sometimes lose your footing and may not always see your next grab. Occasionally you may even need to return to the bottom to begin again with a different approach.

However, those who persevere are destined to come out on top.

The Line

In the dust
A line does stand
And divided by it
A woman and a man

Waiting patiently
He knows not
If she even wants
To cross at all

Hoping she does
His waiting continues
For her to move
And what will ensue

Growing impatient
He tries his best
To coax her across
Into his arms to rest

Alomst unbearable
Does it start to become
He only wants to know
If in vain he does so.

Having no choice
Himself he cannot cross
Continuing to wait
But not a total loss

Gained a friend
He will continue
To wait it out patiently
With dreams renewed

Changes

Spent my life waiting for perfection. Searching in vain for a beautiful, shining light in a world filled with dim lights and darkness. Darkness so dense and thick it traps bright thoughts and glimmers of hopes.

Blackness transforming thoughts and feelings into nothingness. Unable to feel happy or joy any longer. Only able to see shadows of things. No silver linings for clouds or lights at the end of the tunnel.

That was until we met. Darkness being washed away by feelings unfelt in a long time. Bright light brightening up the darkest of shadows. Penetrating into the depths of even the deepest of voids.

Only able to see the silver linings and the light at the end of the tunnel. Now it becomes impossible to feel unhappy when we are together. Unless of course you happen to be unappy and then my heart can concentrate on nothing but you.

Thinking about you without even thinking about it. Just wondering how you are doing and hoping for nothing but the best. Unable to even concentrate on my own feelings. Ignoring everything in the world when thinking of you.

News

A smile graces my face as I hear your voice. You begin to speak and I listen intently. You deliver your message and it brings everything to a halt. Your words caused my heart to briefly skip a beat or two. My mind stopped in its track as if it hit a wall. I am left completely speechless and dumbstruck.

I wanted to ask how you were but I couldn't manage to get the words out. Perhaps I did not want to hear because it might be too much to bear. You told me you were alright and my mind resumed its course again. A heavy, heavy burden lifted from my heart. It rejoices in its newfound lightness and knowing that you are okay. It sights briefly and longingly decides it can wait to see you later that day.

Love

Love is the lifeblood by which my heart does beat;
It is the wind beneath my wings which brings me to heights of joy;
The current which stirs thoughts deep within my mind;
Beams of radiant warmth that make my soul shine,
And heats up the passion contained within.
The tree which gives me company and comfort through shade;
The love of yours if what I hope to gain;

Beauty

Beauty is such a hard thing to define. Words do such things little justice. They merely scratch the surface in their feeble attempts to describe what can only be experienced and witnessed to truely appreciate.

This idea rings true in my own poetry. I try in vain to describe your beauty and amazing personality. The only way to define beauty and truely see your own is to be in your presence.

The sun seems to shine brighter when you are around. The air smells sweetly reminding one of roses after a light shower. One's thoughts evaporate and one's ability to think disipates around you. One relishes your company when with you and longs for it when apart.

Apples

A beautiful tree filled with apples. On the highest branch sits the brightest, sweetest apple of them all. The lonely fruit hangs lonely near the top with not another that even remotely compares.

Beneath the tree lies hundreds of apples scattered across the ground. The fruit on the ground are easily grabbed and most men would unknowingly collect these false treasures. A lonesome, weary traveler spots the tree. Some might prefer the bitter taste and rotten cores of the ground apples because they are easier to get, but not this particular man.

He sees the gorgeous fruit seated atop the peak of the tree. He cannot take his eyes off the apple of his eye. He imagines the sweet aroma and taste of it. Determined to take possession of this fruit, the man sets about creating a plan to get it.

He does not have a ladder and cannot reach it by hand. Trying to coax the fruit from its branch is impossible and rarely works to get anything. Shaking of the tree and brute force to bring it closer to him would not work either. Unwilling to give up so easily he decides that he has but one reasonable option.

He goes into town and sells his favorite pocketwatch. He uses the money to buy a ladder so he can make the ascent. Such is a small price to pay for what you want. The feeling of getting the only thing you want in life pays itself back one-thousand fold.

He returns to the tree with his means of procurement. He ascends the ladder and grabs the apple with both hands. He holds it close and takes in its sweet aroma. He kisses it softly and a tear rolls down his weary cheek.

Another Dream

I awake from my nightly slumber and recall my dream from the past night. What a strange and wonderous feeling for someone who never dreams normally.

Walking slowly under the stars, the water and beach sand beneath my toes. We stop ever so briefly to stare at the stars. Not a single cloud in the sky to obscure our view of the moon and stars. The ocean waves beating the shore and against a nearby pier.

I feel the warmth of your skin as we embrace in the light of the moon. Softly I kiss your milky-white neck as I inhale the sweet aroma of your beautiful, brown hair. The head radiates from your breath and fuels my passion. I bring your face close to mine and kiss your soft lips while staring deep in your shimmering brown eyes. Blinking becomes impossible as I cannot bring myself to close my eyes even for a millisecond. My heart flutters deep within my chest as I struggle to catch my breath as our lips part. You gasp ever so slightly and your lips quiver.

The rest of the dream merely a faded memory.

Rain

The sun hides behind a sea of smoke colored clouds. The clouds saturate the ground below with billions of droplets as they pass overhead. Water scurries quickly across the ground looking for a place to congregate. The rain fills the air with music as it falls. Pools of rain water shimmer brilliantly as the sun curiously peaks from behind its thick cover. The wind fills the trees with life and they sway in delight.

The clouds finally complete their pass overhead. The moon shines brightly in the sky. The air smells sweet and heavy from the rain. Not a sound can be heard except running and dripping water. Water continues flowing across the ground in its search for the lowest point it can find. The ground sinks down as its had its fill.

Time

Time passes slowly when you are alone. A second can seem like an eternity when one only has loneliness to dwell on. One begins to long for someone with whom you can go through time. This speeds up time and those eternities seem infinitely shorter. As time goes by and almost comes to an end all you can think of is more time to spend with those you love.

Live each days as though it were the last. Hold close those you hold dear and let them know while you are able. To know that someone cares for you can make even the longest of eternities bearable. Nothing is quite as terrible as never getting to tell someone how you feel.

Life is a lonely road to have to endure alone.

Exposed

My lonely heart is exposed for all the world to see. No more barriers to hide behind and unable to hide anything inside any longer. Flesh melted away by smiles and loving glances. My chest ripped wide open from gentle prying by kind words. No more bone or flesh to hide how I feel.

I can no longer hide how my pulse increases around you. My heart flutters in my chest and blood rushes through my veins with each wink from your beautiful eyes. Each breath I take in of your sweet aroma fills my lungs and goes straight to my brain. I cannot take enough air in to match my racing heart. Light-headed and loving every wonderful second of it.

Slowly my pulse descends as we part ways. My heart sinks slightly in my chest as if to hide itself away from others. The grin fades from my face and the longing begins to set in again.

Yet Another Addiction

Recently reacquainted with a long lost friend. Been almost a year since some time did we spend. Not really needed on daily basis but enjoying periodic vists to your oasis.

Drawing you deep inside me. Filling up my lungs. Sweet smokey aroma burning away tension and leaving with your periodic ascension to the sun.

Pulse ever increasing and heaviness ceasing. Each draw becomes more pleasing and thoughts within easing. The nicotine appeasing the stress contained inside. Just sitting back and enjoying of the ride.

Probably not a good thing to accustom one's self with. Causing nothing good in the long run and creating a deeper pit. The deeper you allow yourself to go the harder to get out of it. For now in here will I rest and sit.

But at this moment in time I do not really care anymore. Just enjoying being able to relax down to my core. Able to sleep easier because no turning over of ideas in my mind. I guess that is ultimately what I am trying to find. Getting necessary rest so I am not tired all the time.

What is the point of winding one's self up and not allowing to unwind?

The Hunt

A predator quietly creeps amidst the grass to hide his intentions from its prey. Slowly and steadily the hunter stalks from a distance. Never does it ever takes his eyes from his intended recipient.

The prey unknowingly continues her daily business not knowing what will ensue. Her head darts around every now and then to check the surrounding area. Seeing that everything is seemingly fine, she lowers her head gracefully to the water's surface to drink. The prey quickly raises her head from the water and looks around again. Did she receive the unsettling chill through her spine from knowing someone is gazing upon her?

As the predator closes in on his victim and finally gets close enough to make the sprint towards his goal, the prey takes off and leaves him in the dust. The predator lets out a brief sigh and lays back down under a tree. For a second his heart sinks in its chest, but it realizes something laying there.

The prey is bound to return and he will get another chance to pursue her. Hunting is all about tactics and patience. Good use of the two will ensure success eventually. Maybe you do not always get the trophy you were seeking, but something will always be better than nothing.

Perhaps she knowingly puts herself in such situations because she likes the chase. The thrill of being wanted and watched by wanting eyes. The thought that her presence excites him and arouses his attention.

Such thoughts do stir in lovers' hearts as they wait patiently in the shade for their prey to return and the hunt to resume.

Sexy

More beautiful than you probably realize. You can look into the mirror and smile. Comfortable with who you are all the while. Not a single mask or disguise do you hide behind. Truely okay with what lies deep inside.

That is what I truly find to be sexy. Someone who understands perfectly what it is to be comfortable in their own skin. Never trying to hide the person constantly lurking within. Not considering being human to be a sin.

Letting others think how they want and act as they do. Allowing them to believe in the fantasies they hold true. Not afraid to voice your opinion either when they give you the cue. Being able to defend your view with facts on tap.

Not afraid to engange and induldge your many senses. Seeing the world through many different and new lenses. The letting go of all your tenseness within fearlessly. Enjoying it all so immensely as the mind's denseness fades away. Euphoria and joy do visit as you proceed along the way.

Lone Traveler

I walk along a beaten path,
Along a crumbling wall,
I walk until I can no longer,
And am about to fall.

I rest briefly as all must do,
Along the crumbling wall,
Covered in vines old and new,
Among ravines big and small.

The old oaks hang overhead,
And bathe the path in shade,
For brief seconds I see the sun ahead,
In slivers of openings time has made.

I close my eyes ever so briefly,
And think of things old and new,
Of these things chiefly,
Thoughts and memories of you.

I hear birds singing,
Far away in the distance,
Seemingly they are calling,
For me to leave the fence.

I continue down the old road,
With my resolve renewed,
Feet still soar with blisters bold,
But with my heart refueled.

In the brief moment I rested,
Along the crumbling fence,
Your love itself has bested,
Feelings of sorrows dense.

No matter how dark the path or road,
You shall ever travel upon,
A light at the end bright and bold,
Will beckon you along.

The light might be many things,
For many different folks' lives,
But the thoughts of you bring,
Brightness to my eyes.

No matter how hard the road may seem,
I only have to close my eyes,
And think of how your personality beams,
To be whisked away to paradise.

Perfection

I have never seen something perfect,
In nature or otherwise,
Though some things I have seen were suspect,
And were amazing to the eyes.

I have watched gorgeous sunsets,
Filling the skies with hues of red and gold,
Bands of color freshly painted and wet,
And patches of colors bright and bold.

I have seen the moon in clear skies,
Whose beams light the ground below,
You could scarecly remove your eyes,
If you've ever seen it reflect off snow.

I have watched the sun rise above the sea,
Not a single piece of land in the way,
Parting through the morning clouds,
And rising through the sky to stay.

I have watched the trees sway,
Mingling with a storm's forceful breeze,
Not letting a thing get in their way,
Neither side allowing the other to ease.

I have watched snow glisten in the morning sun,
Upon a breathtaking side of mountain,
And hearing birds did listen when they sung,
As they poured from the forests like a fountain.

I never thought I would see something,
Perfect until the two of us met,
Leaving me slackjawed and staring,
At perfection unseen as of yet.

Dreaming

I gaze longlingly at your eyes as we talk. Everything seems too perfect to ever be real. I pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. I cannot concentrate on my own thoughts for long.

The lights shimmer softly upon your beautiful, brown eyes. Gorgeous pools of radiance amidst a tiny sea of white flesh. Your exceptionally cute nose completes the package well. Every now and then my eyes wander lower towards your lips as you speak. I cannot help but notice how soft they appear to be.

My ears tune out everything except your sweet voice. Only the two of us exist in the room. I listen carefully and continually grow engrossed in your words for I have no choice. Everything else just seems like pointless noise.

Your wonderous influence reigns down upon me. Unknowingly you give me reason to be merry. My thoughts inside must I bury until the proper time to be unearthed.

Nightmare

He lays there limply on his back quivering. His body shakes and jumps as waves of chills course through him. Sweat pours from his skin and a pool slowly forms beneath him.

Ghastly in appearance he lays there unable to move voluntarily. Brief incoherent messages pass through his lips. Arms and feet flail through the air in vain. His face cringes as though he is in unimaginable pain.

Suddenly he slowly opens his eyes, breathes deeply of the surrounding air, and gains his courage from within to sit up. It was but a dream that held him captive in his own body and bedroom. Perhaps nightmare would be a term better used for such things.

He catches his breath and lays back down in his bed. Thoughts of things he holds dear race through his head as it touches his pillow. He grins briefly as he realizes that the sooner he sleeps, then the sooner shall he see his love again. With this thought filling his head, his body at length does find slumber again.

Questions

I want to ask you, but I do not know if I want to know the answer. My heart tells me to proceed, but my mind does not always concur. Between the two I am continually caught. Who am I to listen to?

How do I proceed to ask? Do you want to get to know me better? Maybe we can hang out some time? Do I use some awful pickup line?

Thousands of questions race through my head when we are apart. These thousands of questions are but merely the start. I try to shutoff my mind and look deep into my heart, but it's too busy being filled with cupid's arrows and darts.

My mind is of little help to me, too. It is constantly and relentlessly thinking of only you. Crazy and beautiful thoughts and dreams do ensue. What exactly should I do?

I try to merely trust my instincts. The ideas it comes up with are truely distinct. They tell me to write it all down in ink, so someday I can just hand it to you and wink. Perhaps you will be kind of enough to say what you think.

I Would Give You The World

The cool airs drifts across your body and chills run across it. I see you shiver for a brief moment as your body tries to warm itself. I want to hold you close to me just to keep you warm and safe from the surrounding air. I would gladly give you the shirt off my back if you would but ask. It is the very least that I can do.

The sun's heated rays beam heavily down upon your small frame. Your body is adjusted to the heat but if you should ever need shade, I would stand in front of you to block the sun off your face. I would give you the last sip of water from my bottle or last bite of my ice cream. I would do whatever to aid in your comfort, for my comfort would come second to your own.

The rain pours heavily down upon the Earth outside from the clouds above. I would gladly give you my umbrella to keep you dry and warm and from getting a cold. I would run outside to get your car to bring it to the door. My own health would come second to your own.

The time passes quickly and darkness descends upon the Earth. I would gladly stay past my time to walk you to your car. I would do this just because I could not stand the thought of someone laying their hands upon you with ill intentions. Your protection and security would come second to my own.

We walk along slowly the beach together and find a genie's lamp buried in the sand. If we were fortunate to be granted three wishes, two wishes I would give to you to spend. The third I would save for myself wishing for merely more time with you.

The days and month pass, and time slowly begins to slip away from me. My only wish I would have on my dying day is to have just another to hold you in my embrace for just a little while longer. Even if this were not to be, I could still die merrily because I had spent a life worth living with the only person worth giving my entire being to daily.

I would give you the world if you were to ask, because a smile from your face makes it all seem worth it.

Desert Plant

I am a lonely desert plant stranded in a sea of fire and dust. You are the sun above whose beams brighten my day and give me warmth. You are the clouds that pass overhead and bring me brief moments of comfort and shade. You are the rain that cools me off and saturates my roots. You are the ground beneath me that provides support and rich soil from which to grow. You are the moon that chases away the sun each night and basks me in your loving glow.

How could I possibly expect to exist and grow without someone like you?

Soul

My soul quivers nakedly in your presence. I locked it away long ago inside my chest. I did not think I would ever find a worthy bearer of a key to my soul until I met you. You graciously coax out things from within I did not think possible to speak aloud. The thoughts pour from within and rain down upon the surrounding area. When we part the ideas within still manage to squeeze their way out and await you and you alone to lock them away again.

You alone do I entrust with this key and the contents locked away. Whom else could I trust with such a thing except someone as amazing as you?

May 30, 2005

Another Addiction

I knowingly submit myself to you and your will. I take you in and immediately begin to feel you flowing through my body. My head becomes light and all uneasiness fades away. The more of you I take in the better I begin to feel. I become warmer and warmer within yet I do not feel hot.

The world suddenly becomes smaller and troubles no longer have a place in it. My motions become fluid and unrestricted by thought. Feelings flow freely and barriers can no longer contain them. Things that used to seem like huge leaps become baby steps. Everything around me becomes seemingly easier since I can act without thinking.

Perhaps this state is not the best. I never thought I would be able to relase control of my thoughts but it brings unimaginable joy and euphoria. As you fade from my body I long to be reacquainted with you again. Such is the path to addiction.

Love

True love is an act of selflessness. To give all you are to another person and expect nothing in return is love in its purest form. Not a more beautiful thing exists in nature than reciprocal love.

The mingling of two hearts brings joy in its purest form. To be with the person you want and experience life together is true ecstasy. It is unimaginable to those who have never experienced such a wondrous thing.

My heart is lonely wallflower. It stands steadfast against the wall and gazes upon the happy couples embraced with one another. It longs in agony to be brought together with another similar to it. What more can it possibly ask for than a companion to spend its time with?

I find the courage within to leave the wall and actively seek you out. You passively and unknowingly deny my advances and pursuits. I am determined to persevere for if there was ever a thing I have wanted, it is for you to share my company.

May 29, 2005

Loneliness

Loneliness tortures the soul of a person. It creates unimaginable pain for the bearer of such woes. The essence of the person fades away into nonexistence. Blackness consumes the mind and an endless vacuum does it create. The vacuum draws in all things resembling joy and from it they can almost never be set free.

Only love can free the happiness trapped within. The chains broken and happiness unleashed for all the world to see. When a person is in love everyone around can sense it. A bright aura surrounds the person and replaces the negativity previously exuded.

May 27, 2005

Addiction

Our meeting has been an affliction unto my soul. It causes me to think of you unconciously throughout the day. I do not feel so alone when we are together since I have finally met someone who sees the world as I do. Your presence eases my mind and brings me peace. I can finally stop thinking when I am around you and act from my heart.

Even if we are nothing more than friends than I consider it to all be worthwhile. People who think as I do and like the things I do are hard to come by in this world. I have always considered myself to be completely unique yet the meeting of you makes me feel as though I am not alone in the way I am.

My mind longs for the chance to get to know you better. Talking with you feeds my mind with the sweetest of thoughts. These conversations bring euphoric joy to my mind like candies bring joy to those with a sweet-tooth. Much like that same person my mind has grown to be addicted to you and pains me when we have not talked. Then, I must speak with you again and the withdrawals recede.

May 26, 2005

Sunshine

Senses heightened to peaks unknown when you are around. It matters not if I see you for I can still sense your aura in the surrounding air. Your aura whispers softly in my ears and arouses my attention to your presence nearby.

I cannot help but to smile as I long to actually see your beaming and radiant face in front of me. The sweet sound of your voice is like music to my ears. My personality cannot be contained any longer. It longs to be set free and allowed to mingle with your own.

The minutes seem like seconds when I am engaged in conversation with you. I long to spend more and more time lingering in your presence. The world fades away in darkness and only you can I see. A beautiful, shining light at the end of an endlessly dark tunnel. However, you are the only part of the world I need to see.

Your presence feeds my soul with radiant joy like the sun above provides to plants below. It matters not how many clouds may come and interfere with the light for there passing is short. Much like a flower longs for sunshine, my heart longs each night for the next day to come forth and the sunshine to reign upon me again.

A Recent Occurence

An amazing thing has occurred recently.

The most beautiful and exquisite flower I have ever seen has graced me with its presence. It possesses an aura that pervades the imagination. Not a single flower in nature can hope to compare to its unique qualities. Its uniqueness alone exemplifies and amplifies its beauty. Never have I seen such a flower that emits such radiance as this one. Its sweetness arouses the attention of everyone in its presence. To be graced with a presence such as this is to be truely captivated.

One cannot reasonably expect to tame or possess such a wild flower, but only be fortunate enough to be permitted to tend to its needs and protect it even though it needs this not. One can only hope to be graced with the fortune to be said protector and tender of its needs and hopefully grow old enough to see the course of its natural growth.

The Journey Begins

Life is nothing more than a journey to a preset destination. Your arrival at this destination is inevitable. The best thing one can do is to enjoy the time elapsed from beginning to end. This is true of any trip or journey you will undertake. The journey is always more important than where you end up.
