The Fairy

Dancing in the sea of twilight were an ogre and a fairy amidst a sea of others. The night graciously providing music for the two to dance. The lusciously enchanting and limber fairy finding it easy to keep in rhythm. Such a thing proves to be more of an ordeal for the clumsy ogre. His clumsiness compounded by his inability to stop from watching the sultry fairy's body swaying. He tries his best to keep up but finds himself out of his element. She takes his clumsiness in stride as a good friend would. She supplies her tiny hand and he softly takes hold. Dizzyingly she spins around in his hand. The moment is brief but he wishes it would last for an eternity.

The music fades away and their dancing comes to a close. The night grows old and the sun is not far from rising. The two part ways with a warm embrace and a few parting words. The ogre only wishes the fairy knew how much he enjoyed their brief mingling. He hopes the uncontrollable smile left on his face conveys a small semblance of how he feels. The ogre considering himself lucky to have such a fiery, tiny-framed fairy for a friend.
